QIP 2010: Important Dates

The important dates for QIP 2010 in Zürich have been announced.

QIP 2010 will be the thirteenth in a series of annual workshops. It follows QIP 2009 which took place January 2009 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

  • Submission deadline for contributed talks: October 22, 2009
  • Notification of acceptance: November 23, 2009
  • Submission deadline for posters: December 7, 200

  1. I’ve been wanting to attend a QIP conference for a while. I suppose the conference will be highly theoretical. Sounds a bit scary. I don’t suppose there will be much in the way of experimental posters/talks about implementations? Although this might be a good thing, as I could do with some new theory insights to help me plan future experiments. Maybe I should just come along and hang around at the back :)

  2. Submit an abstract! Or check the QIP 2009 website. But I’m pretty sure there are experimentalists at QIP. Honestly, I’ve never been to a QIP due to lack of funds, but I’m hoping to get enough money to attend this one since I think I finally have some non-foundational research to present.
