It’s a binary day … two days in a row!

In the US, today is 01/11/10 which, when taken as the binary number 011110 and converted to base-10 decimal is 30.  However, in much of the rest of the world today is written 11/01/10 or 110110 which is 54.  Conversely, yesterday was 01/10/10 or 011010 in the US which is 26 or 10/01/10 or 100110 in much of the rest of the world which is 38.  Of course, New Year’s Day was the same everywhere – 01/01/10 or 010110 which is 22.

There are a whole ton of binary days coming up this year.  Check out someone’s (alcohol-inspired?) list
